Universitatii Square (Piata Universitatii)
Universitatii Square (Piata Universitatii) as seen from Intercontinental Hotel, toghether with all the major buildings around it – Coltea Hospital (Spitalul Coltea), Coltei Church (Biserica Coltei), Sutu Palace – Bucharest City Museum (Palatul Sutu – Muzeul Orasului Bucuresti), BCR Erste Building (Cladirea BCR Erste), Bucharest University (Universitatea Bucuresti) and many others.
What can you do with some used plastic water bottles? A recycled dress? A statement? I found these two creations at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (Universitatea de Arhitectura si Urbanism Ion Mincu). Nice work.
Red and white Christmas not because of snow, but due to a nice bubbles combination for the big Christmas tree in the middle of Universitatii Square (Piata Universitatii). Some rumors say that it is a copy of a Parisian tree.
As I promised, night pictures with Bucharest Christmas Lights will come soon, but until then, please enjoy the bubbles from last year. All of them are from Universitatii Square (Piata Universitatii), the center of the city center. 🙂
Almost like a tradition, the Universitatii Square (Piata Universitatii) in Bucharest hosts a light tree every year. 2010 was the exception with no tree, but this year, we have a very interesting one. Night pictures will come soon.
7 October was the day when HBO started broadcasting the new season of True Blood and they prepared a magical potion for the well known fountain from University Square (Piata Universitatii).
