Elegant Christmas

A sparkling red bow from an elegant green Xmas tree in Bucharest city center – in front of the Novotel Hotel from Victoriei Avenue (Calea Victoriei).

Christmas Decorations in the City (Shopping Day # 4)

I’m trying to find new Christmas decorations in Bucharest, as we don’t have a dedicated Xmas market or fair or something else, so I have to spot on my own for colored places. This picture was taken from the window of an old bookshop in Magheru Boulevard (Bulevardul Magheru). I hope you like it 😉

National Day of Romania

Arcul de Triumf from Kiseleff Street is the main element for the parade on National Day of Romania (1 December). This is a picture from one day before, in the morning when everything was under a warm yellow light.

Looking for New Destinations

A small part of “the Ark from Carturesti”, in front of the Carturesti Bookstore (Libraria Carturesti) on Magheru Boulevard (Bulevardul Magheru).

@ Carturesti (Shopping Day # 1)

It you want books and accessories, tea or DVDs, you must go to Carturesti, on Magheru Boulevard. It is probably the best bookstore in Bucharest.

Kretulescu Church

The red Kretulescu Church from Victoriei Avenue (Calea Victoriei). More info here.

One Trolleybus Line

This spider network of a trolleybus line is from Piata Sfintii Voievozi, a little and well hidden square from Bucharest. And if you insist on taking the trolleybus, here will find the line to connect you with Romana Square (Piata Romana).

The Red Carpet (Going out in Bucharest #4)

A big party or a small one could start on the red carpet. I found this one close to Victoriei Square (Piata Victoriei), at the entry to the Golden Apple Salon (Salon Marul de Aur). Never been there, just passing by.
