The People and Their Stories (Living in Bucharest #1)

Gorgeous people from a Saturday afternoon in the park from the Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica Bucuresti). I’ve started a new series on the blog called “Living in Bucharest” hoping to show you some of the beautiful people around here, some of their joy and serendipity, and, of course, new colors from the city.

Maple Leaves

Definitely, it’s autumn everywhere.

Last Rays of Sun (Monday Flowers # 19)

Lila flowers from Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica).

Beautiful yellow flower in the low light of autumn sun.

Yellow Trees # 5

Mix of yellow and orange maple leaves in Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica Bucuresti). Lovely autumn days.

Little Butterfly (on Monday Flowers # 16)

Last year, last days of October were sunny and colored. And so I found this little white butterfly čÖé

Yellow Trees (# 2)

I’ve promised yellow and here it is, one of the best colors of autumn. This beautiful place is from Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica).

Pink Flowers (Monday Flower # 14)

This tree reminds me of springtime although the picture was taken in September. I found it in close to the entry of the Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica).

Autumn Time

We know the winter is close when the leafs lose their green to yellow and the chestnuts leave their trees to lying on the grass or other lower places.

Pink Orchid (Monday Flowers # 13)

This beautiful white and lila orchid comes from Bucharest Botanical Garden (Gradina Botanica), from the newly refurbished greenhouses.
